Koenigsegg has now completed the final crash tests for side impact. The result was extraordinary not only for sports cars but in comparison to safe family cars as well. The impact levels on the test dummies were among the lowest ever recorded.

Koenigsegg engineering has once again proved to be outstanding. The doors where still functional after the tests and the CC could safely have been driven home.

The Asian launch of the Koenigsegg CC took place in Korea.Two Koenigsegg CC were fabulously displayed in the Ballroom of the prestigious Shilla hotel in Seoul. The premiere was followed up for customers and journalists at the Everland Racetrack outside Seoul later on in the week.

Koenigsegg most wanted European car in the US

In an online poll over what cars currently for sale in Europe, but not available in the US, Koenigsegg is the most wanted sports car.

The poll is featured on Motortrend.com, one of the largest car-websites in America.

When asked “What European market car would you most like to see sold in the United States?”, people have voted the Koenigsegg CC up to third place, as of this writing, right after the Ford Mondeo ST220 and the Opel Vectra. After Koenigsegg comes the Nissan Terrano and the Smart crossblade.
