Koenigsegg Automotive was for the Koenigsegg CC awarded UTMÄRKT SVENSK FORM (Excellent Swedish Design) award by the institute UTMÄRKT SVENSK FORM.

The boards motivation was: “An un-Swedish Swedish product which aroused hot debate among the jury members. The exterior design confirms that this is a car with a very special character, designed for a special purpose.
The award is more for the car’s design as a communicator of an extreme content, than for its usefulness as an everyday car.

An everyday car is used daily; the Koenigsegg is driven on special occasions by those who want to pay over SEK three million for a car. A bit like comparing a glass of milk with a glass of champagne”.
