The new tires combined with the new integrated wing enhance the Koenigsegg’s already outstanding performance.

During test sessions of the new Michelin tires the Koenigsegg the car recoded up to 1.3 g in cornering force. Amazingly with the wider tires the real life test showed a CD-value of only 0.29 with a moderate down force.

Koenigsegg has now completed the final crash tests for side impact. The result was extraordinary not only for sports cars but in comparison to safe family cars as well. The impact levels on the test dummies were among the lowest ever recorded.

Koenigsegg engineering has once again proved to be outstanding. The doors where still functional after the tests and the CC could safely have been driven home.

In an online poll over what cars currently for sale in Europe, but not available in the US, Koenigsegg is the most wanted sports car.

The poll is featured on Motortrend.com, one of the largest car-websites in America.

When asked “What European market car would you most like to see sold in the United States?”, people have voted the Koenigsegg CC up to third place, as of this writing, right after the Ford Mondeo ST220 and the Opel Vectra. After Koenigsegg comes the Nissan Terrano and the Smart crossblade.
